Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This policy explains what data best-gpu.com collects, why, and how it is used. By using this site you agree to these practices.

Who we are

best-gpu.com is a GPU price comparison site that aggregates publicly available Amazon listings. We are not affiliated with Amazon or any GPU manufacturer. You can reach us at contact@best-gpu.com.

Data we collect

We have no user accounts. We collect personal information directly only when you give us your email address: for a free price alert (see Price-drop alerts below) or for our newsletter. The third-party tools we use also collect data automatically when you visit:

  • Google Analytics — collects anonymised usage data including pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, and approximate location (country/city level). IP anonymisation is enabled.
  • PostHog — collects product analytics data including page views, clicks, and session behaviour to help us understand how the site is used and improve it.
  • Cookies — both Google Analytics and PostHog set cookies in your browser to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. We set one functional cookie ourselves, preferred_marketplace, to remember which Amazon store (US or UK) you chose.

Price-drop alerts

If you sign up for a free price alert on one of our GPU pages, we store:

  • your email address, and a one-way keyed hash of it;
  • the card you chose, your alert rule (a 10% drop, or a target price), the card's price when you signed up, the page you signed up on, and the dates you signed up, confirmed and were last emailed;
  • whether each alert email was sent and whether its link was clicked.

Why: only to email you when that card gets cheaper. We send nothing until you click the confirmation link in the first email, and at most one email per card every 7 days. We never sell or share your address, and we do not use it for anything else.

How long: unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days. Confirmed alerts are kept until you unsubscribe.

How to be removed: every alert email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops all your alerts and deletes your email address; we keep only the keyed hash, so the address cannot be signed up again without your knowledge. To have that hash deleted too, email contact@best-gpu.com.

Emails are delivered on our behalf by a transactional email provider, which processes your address only to deliver them. To limit abuse we count sign-up attempts per connection, using a keyed hash of your IP address that we delete after two days; we never store the IP address itself.

Amazon affiliate links

This site participates in the Amazon Associates programme. When you click a product link and make a purchase on Amazon, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. When you follow a link to Amazon, you are subject to Amazon's own privacy policy and cookie practices.

How we use data

Analytics data is used solely to understand site traffic and improve the user experience. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with any third parties beyond what is described above.

Your choices

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings, which will prevent both Google Analytics and PostHog from tracking your session. The site's core functionality works fully without cookies.

Data retention

Personal data we store on our own servers is limited to the email addresses described above, kept for the periods stated there. Analytics data retention is governed by Google and PostHog's respective policies. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default.
